Payment Policy

Unless stated otherwise in the event description, payment is required no later than 7 days prior to the event to hold your tee time for a golf event!

Please remember, courses sponsoring our events require Twin Cities Singles Golf to pay seven days in advance and we need an exact count on the number of golfers. We can't hold (and pay for) extra tee times in the hope of filling those slots. We also can't reduce the number of tee times at the last minute, the courses we play need commitment from us (which means money).

In the past, several golf events were filled before the registration cut-off date, so it is important to send your check as soon as possible. Registration for golf events is open to TCSG members on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are considering membership but undecided, we invite you to play a few events as a guest for an additional $15 fee.

A FEE OF $20 WILL BE ASSESSED ON ALL RETURNED CHECKS.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand last minute cancellations do happen and we will make every attempt to fill your spot. The closer to the event you cancel the more difficult it is to fill your spot. Please consider that cancellations and notifying people on the waiting list is very time consuming - and we'd rather be out golfing than making phone calls.

If you cancel (7) days prior to events you will be given a credit.

No shows on the day of event will not receive a refund or credit.

How will I know my tee time?

Tee times are e-mailed and posted on the web site 3 to 5 days before the event. If you are on the waiting list, you will be notified as well. If you are on the waiting list you have the option of showing up at the golf course, however you may not be able to play.

Dress Code

Please wear proper golf attire. This includes collared shirts for men; no cutoffs, no T-shirts; and always wear your spikeless shoes.

Rain Days

It doesn't.  OK, it does but, we play rain or shine, after all this is Minnesota. It can be raining in the morning and turn into a beautiful day by noon. In the event of a total rain out, most courses will either reschedule or give us rain checks. HOWEVER, YOU STILL NEED TO COME TO THE COURSE THE DAY OF THE EVENT. Don't assume you can sit at home and get a rain check, by your tee time it may stop raining.

Who will I play with?

We mix up the groups for every event so you will probably play with someone new each time. We do make an effort to put two men and two women in each foursome. However, because of last minute changes, occasional foursomes will be unbalanced.

Course Selection

We strive to schedule golf courses that offer different prices and different locations around the Twin Cities area. Some courses we'd love to play, but they do not allow events on the weekends. Other premier courses are filled with annual events and are impossible to get an available date. But, we are always looking for new courses and ideas.
