Welcome to the 2010 golf season! The BIG Announcement for this golf season is…..we have started a new website! A Meetup group website, which can be found at:

  • This website is part of a very popular website channel called Meetup.com. It is very user-friendly and provides us with much greater visibility.
  • As part of a vibrant and growing world-wide community we have enhanced social networking features with a modern and dynamic interface.
  • Improved communications. You will stay better informed on events and developments and what others are doing and saying.
  • You can integrate our event schedule with your personal calendar.
Starting in May, 2010, we will be using the new site exclusively for event posting, signup, and distribution of weekly emails. So…you must be registered on the new Meetup site in order to receive our email notices and to sign up for events.
The process is easy.
  1. If you already have a meetup account: Login in and then go to www.meetup.com/Twin-Cities-Singles-Golf click on Join Us and fill out your profile
  2. If you have a facebook account: go to www.meetup.com/Twin-Cities-Singles-Golf click on Sign up using Facebook and follow those instructions
  3. Otherwise: see details below for creating a meetup account and joining

Details for creating a meetup account and joining the group

  1. Access http://meetup.com/twin-cities-singles-golf
  2. You see the Twin Cities Singles Golf meetup site
  3. You click on "Join Us" (upper right part of the page)
  4. System displays dialog offering Facebook join or meetup
  5. You select meetup option
  6. System displays a form to enter name, email and password
  7. You enter name, email and password and submit
  8. System tells you it sent an email to your address 
  9. An email arrives at your email address with a link
  10. You click the link
  11. System opens web page on TCSG site with a form to enter married status and gender and optional bio
  12. You answer two required questions and submit
  13. Done
